Job Description - Account Executive (UK and Ireland Market)

Hi! 👋 I’m Anna, Sales Manager at WeTravel, based in our vibrant Rokin office in Amsterdam 🇳🇱. My goal is to build a high-performing, engaging, and fun sales team on the ground here—and we’re just getting started!


We’re looking for a driven and ambitious Account Executive to join our growing European team. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of introducing WeTravel’s platform to multi-day tour operators across the region.


Our big, hairy goal? To become the go-to platform for group travel companies around the world—and you’ll play a key role in bringing that vision to life right here in Europe.

👉 This is an in-office role based in Amsterdam. You must have the right to work in the EU.


How We Work

Our Sales team operates with energy, autonomy, and a strong sense of collaboration. As an Account Executive, you’ll own the full sales cycle—from outbound prospecting to closing deals with small-to-medium sized, multi-day tour operators. You are ensuring a smooth handoff to our onboarding team.

What sets this role apart is that you won’t waste time endlessly researching leads. We already have a solid pipeline of warm prospects, so your day-to-day will be focused on calls, demos, and follow-ups. We embrace a consultative approach and use tools like HubSpot to stay organized and effective. Expect a high-energy environment where success is shared, and your voice truly matters.

Why You Should or Shouldn’t Apply

You should apply if you:

  • Have 2+ years of experience in inside sales or B2B tech sales (SMB focus preferred).

  • Are fluent in English (fluency in other languages like Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, or Scandinavian languages is a huge plus—make sure to mention it in your resume!).

  • Are confident making outbound calls and engaging in cold outreach.

  • Have strong presentation, communication, and negotiation skills.

  • Are passionate about helping SME business owners scale their operations.

  • Have used or are familiar with HubSpot CRM and sales methodologies like SPIN.

  • Bonus: Prior experience or existing network in the travel industry.

You might not be the right fit if you:

  • Prefer reactive roles and don’t enjoy outbound sales activity.

  • Are uncomfortable with cold calling or fast-paced prospecting.

  • Struggle with organization or adapting to fast-changing priorities.

  • Are not based within commuting distance of Amsterdam or can't work a hybrid schedule.


On a Weekly Basis You Will Find Yourself

  • Prospecting and calling small-to-medium multi-day tour operators.

  • Running product demos that clearly show the value of the WeTravel platform.

  • Managing your pipeline through HubSpot and actively following up with leads.

  • Closing deals and collaborating with onboarding to ensure client success.

  • Sharing feedback with our product and marketing teams based on client needs and objections.

  • Attractive compensation - uncapped commission. Base Fulltime Salary is €45,000 (On Target Earnings: Year 1 OTE = €95,000, Year 2 OTE = €130,000).
