The Role 

As an HR & Recruitment Specialist, you’ll play a key role in keeping Cloudmuscle’s HR & Recruitment operations running smoothly and bringing the necessary process improvements in line with Cloudmuscle’s Strategy. From flawless HR administration to recruiting top talent and organizing community events, you’ll support our people and growth behind the scenes—bringing order, energy, and human touch to everything we do. You work closely with our Leadership team to:  

• Bring structure to our HR policies and processes, improve what is already there and build a solid HR foundation for growth. 

• Create a strong employer brand, improve our employer value proposition and framework for measuring employee satisfaction. 

• Manage internal tools and systems like NMBRS, SharePoint and Salesforce for accurate employee records. 

• Take the lead in sourcing, screening, and hiring new talent—both freelance and permanent—for our growing team. 

• Represent Cloudmuscle at external recruitment events and actively build our talent pipeline

• Coordinate with our suppliers for Legal, Payroll, off-shore Payroll, ensuring seamless collaboration and compliance. 

• Plan and organize internal and external community events (minimum 4 annually) that boost culture and connection. 

• Spot and resolve operational bottlenecks—whether it’s improving processes or updating internal policies. 

• Support the broader People & Operations team in building a strong employee experience at Cloudmuscle. 

What we’re looking for 

• 1-3 years’ experience in HR, recruitment, or people operations—ideally in a scale-up or professional services context 

• Bachelor Degree in Human Resources or equivalent 

• Strong organizational and planning skills 

• Experience with systems like NMBRS, Office365 and Salesforce is a plus 

• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English 

• A self-starter who spots what needs to be done and takes ownership 

• A great sense of integrity, cultural awareness, and reliability 

• Affinity with fast-moving, entrepreneurial environments
