The Director of International Sales will drive Shopware’s enterprise revenue growth in Italy, Belgium, and the Netherlands. This role requires a proven sales leader and first-line manager who can inspire, coach, and scale a high-performing team, while also taking a hands-on role in complex enterprise deals. The ideal candidate has an extensive background in enterprise sales, strong leadership capabilities, and solid experience within the customer experience or e-commerce ecosystem.
Lead & Inspire: Build, mentor, and lead a team of international account executives, fostering a high-performance culture.
Enterprise Growth: Personally engage in and guide complex, high-value enterprise sales cycles, consistently driving new business.
Market Development: Shape and execute go-to-market strategies for Italy, Belgium, and the Netherlands (with potential to further expansion across EMEA), adapting Shopware’s value proposition to local enterprise needs.
Customer Engagement: Develop and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives, acting as a trusted advisor and long-term partner.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Marketing, Customer Success, Product, and Partner Management to align efforts and maximize impact in the designated territory.
Forecasting & Reporting: Maintain clear visibility into pipeline and performance, ensuring predictable growth.
Industry Presence: Represent Shopware at key events and conferences, strengthening our brand and relationships in the region.
Leadership Experience: Solid track record in leading and developing enterprise sales teams, ideally within international markets.
Enterprise Sales Expertise: Proven ability to close large, complex deals at the enterprise level.
Industry Knowledge: Strong background in customer experience applications stack is a preference, track record in business applications selling is a must.
Regional Presence: Based in Italy, Belgium, or the Netherlands, with established networks and deep understanding of the local market dynamics.
Strategic & Hands-On: Comfortable operating at both a strategic level and in the detail of major deals.
Excellent Communicator: Skilled in engaging and influencing senior stakeholders across multiple geographies.
Growth-Oriented: Entrepreneurial mindset with the drive to expand Shopware’s footprint internationally.
