As a Network and Systems Administrator, you'll manage and maintain the backbone of our IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations for our colleagues. Join our IT team and help us achieve our mission to create a better future for people and the planet.As our Network and Systems Administrator, your mission is to keep Protix’s IT infrastructure running like clockwork. You will oversee a robust system that supports innovation, efficiency, and security while being a proactive partner in tackling technical challenges. Working alongside one other Systems Administrator, you’ll be instrumental in maintaining a seamless IT experience for all employees.

• System Management: Install, configure, test, and maintain servers, network devices, and infrastructure components to ensure optimal performance and security.
• Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Proactively monitor system performance, diagnose technical issues, and resolve them efficiently using ticketing systems and remote management tools.
• Documentation: Maintain up-to-date documentation of network and system configurations, including detailed records of server and network components.
• Process Documentation: Outline and document essential IT workflows and processes.
• Technical Support: Provide fast, effective support to end-users, minimizing disruptions to daily operations.
• Network Administration: Manage and optimize data networks, including configuring and maintaining firewalls, switches, and network hardware.
• Strategic Projects: Collaborate with the IT team to implement infrastructure projects that align with Protix’s growth and goals.

• Experience: At least 5 years in a similar role as a Network and Systems Administrator or equivalent.
• Technical Proficiency: Expertise with Microsoft 365, MS Windows Server, Proxmox, VMware, and Veeam. Experience with HPE Aruba network components is a big plus.
• Certifications: Relevant Microsoft certifications are a bonus.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication in both Dutch and English.
• Flexibility: While primarily based in Bergen op Zoom, you’ll occasionally travel to our 's-Hertogenbosch office.
