Rebuild existing website in Wordpress

Currently there is an existing website. This website is build on a custom made CMS. The client has asked us to rebuild the existing website in Wordpress. We would like to know a fixed price for this Job. The website can be found at this URL: www.bqergonomics.eu/nl. The new Wordpress site must have exact the same structure and functionality and design as the existing site. Functionality has to be created by using existing plugins. Advice on the plugin's to be used is required. Also the content of the existing website has to be migrated to the new website.



Ideal candidate

Experience/Skills:


- 4+ years professional PHP5 experience.
- 3 to 4+ years WordPress development, debugging, and performance tuning including plugins, themes and core.
- Deep understanding of the WordPress core, theming, best practices, plugins and APIs.
- Expertise in selection and installing plugings to create desired functionality
- Understanding of WordPress custom content types and taxonomies.
- Excellent CSS, Javascript + jQuery, and cross platform xHTML skills.
- Working knowledge of MySQL, building Object Orientated Web Applications, and optimizations.
- Experience working with 3rd party APIs (Facebook, Twitter, shopping engines, etc.)
- Experience in resolving cross-browser compatibility issues.
- Familiar working in a collaborative development environment, JIRA, SVN/Git, Trac/Redmine



Preferred Attributes:

- Experience with Agile development a plus.
- Experienced in developing complete solutions, from beginning to end, in PHP and MySQL or PostgreSQL.
- Scalability experience a plus.
- Strong front end skills a plus.
- A quick learner who can make the right decisions in solving common web development issues.
- Enthusiastic about web and other internet technologies.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Have a desire to innovate
