As Strategy Manager Cloud & Edge, you lead the strategic direction of KPN’s cloud transformation across enterprise IT and network domains. You define how KPN adopts and scales public, private, hybrid, and edge cloud architectures to support new digital services and future competitiveness. You work closely with senior leaders, architects, and engineers, translating vision into tangible results that deliver real business value. 

• Own and develop the organization-wide cloud strategy across IT and Telco domains 
• Define the architectural direction for Telco Cloud, from NFV to CNFs, orchestration, and automation 
• Create and drive a strategic roadmap for hybrid cloud and edge computing adoption 
• Shape strategic partnerships with hyperscalers and cloud ecosystem partners 
• Represent KPN externally as a thought leader in cloud and telecom innovation 

The Network and Cloud team includes strategy leads, architects, and transformation experts, all driven by innovation and customer-centricity. We operate within KPN’s Technology Office, where new technological trends are rapidly translated into business value. Every team member actively contributes to shaping the future of KPN’s network and digital services, in a culture of collaboration, learning, and impact. 



You’re a visionary strategist who thrives on complex challenges and future-focused innovation. You combine strong technical expertise with business acumen and excellent stakeholder management skills. You simplify complex ideas, inspire change, and lead the way to real transformation. You work well independently and collaboratively, with a proactive and flexible mindset. To be successful in this role, you’ll need the following: 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline 
• 10+ years’ experience in telecoms, cloud, or technology strategy 
• Deep knowledge of cloud technologies (IaaS, PaaS, Kubernetes, Telco Cloud frameworks) 
• Strategic thinking and business case development skills 
• Strong communication and C-level stakeholder management experience 

As an employer, we offer you an attractive package, including:

• Gross monthly salary between €6,576 and €10,389, depending on your experience (based on 40 hours)
• A fixed 13th-month salary, partially paid monthly and partially in January, or you can allocate it to a FLEX & BOOST goal of your choice
• Annual individual and collective salary increases according to our collective labor agreement (CAO)
• €1,500 per year for personal development, which you can use for training, coaching, or courses

• Excellent pension plan: 23% total contribution, with KPN covering 16% and you contributing 7%
