Starting date: 01 February, 2024

 

                Welcome to Amsterdam's newest culinary gem, a Mediterranean fusion Restaurant & Bar that promises an extraordinary Dining &Entertainment experience. Nestled in the heart of the beautiful city of Amsterdam, the restaurant is set to open its doors in March 2024. With an expansive seating capacity of 170-180 covers, a lively Bar area open until the early hours of the morning, Entertainment Stage in the middle of the restaurant and a charming Terrace dining area with 80 seats, Our Clients are committed to delivering unforgettable moments to guests seeking for Mediterranean flavors.

Key Features:

Two-Floor Layout: The restaurant spans two floors, with a Captivating Stage placed in the middle, promising live music on five days of the week. The atmosphere will be reminiscent of iconic Mediterranean destinations like Jondal and Nammos Mykonos/ Dubai.

Mediterranean Fusion Cuisine: Our culinary concept is inspired by the rich traditions of Mediterranean cuisine, blending Greek, Spanish, Italian, and French flavors. A remarkable 60-65% of our menu offerings feature delectable seafood, promising a seafood lover's paradise.

Four Distinct Kitchens: To ensure an exceptional dining experience, our restaurant boasts four specialized kitchens. These include a FRUIT DE MAR kitchen on the top floor, a hot kitchen on the downstairs 1st floor, a mezzanine-level sandwich kitchen, and a Mice an Place kitchen specializing in freshly made pasta, homemade bread, and pastries.

Expert Culinary Team: Our kitchen is already led by an Executive Chef and a Head Chef of exceptional talent and experience, ensuring that the culinary delights served to our patrons are of the highest quality.





We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Restaurant Manager to join our team at a high-end Mediterranean fusion restaurant. Reporting directly to the Restaurant General Manager, this role is crucial in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the establishment.

While Dutch language proficiency is a plus, it is not a requirement for this role. We are looking for a dynamic individual with experience managing upscale restaurants, preferably in international culinary hubs such as Paris, London, or Dubai.





1. Project Planning:

   Assist the Restaurant General Manager in developing a comprehensive plan for the pre-opening phase, including timelines, staffing requirements, and budget allocation.

2. Recruitment:

   Support the recruitment and selection process for all staff, ensuring the team is well-trained and prepared for the grand opening.

3. Menu Development:

   Collaborate with the Executive Chef and the Restaurant General Manager to finalize the menu, ensuring alignment with the Mediterranean fusion concept.

4. Vendor Selection:

   Assist in establishing relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring timely delivery of high-quality ingredients and equipment.

5. Interior Design and Setup:

   Contribute to overseeing the design and layout, ensuring alignment with the concept and ambiance, and assist in managing the setup of dining areas, bars, and kitchens.

6. Marketing and Promotion:

   Support the planning and execution of marketing activities to build anticipation, creating a buzz on social media and local channels.

7. Regulatory Compliance:

   Work with the Restaurant General Manager to ensure all licenses, permits, and health and safety regulations are adhered to for a smooth opening.

8. Staff Training:

   Assist in the development and implementation of a training program for a seamless dining experience, covering service standards, menu knowledge, and customer interaction.

 

Ongoing Responsibilities:

9. Assist in overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring exceptional service and guest satisfaction.

10. Collaborate with the Restaurant General Manager and Chefs to maintain high culinary standards and manage the kitchens efficiently.

11. Support in developing and maintaining a talented and motivated team, ideally bringing along a network of experienced staff.

12. Assist in monitoring financial performance, including budgeting, revenue targets, and cost control.

13. Collaborate with the Executive Chef on menu development and innovation.

14. Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback with professionalism.

15. Assist in creating and implementing restaurant policies and procedures






Requirements

• Previous experience in restaurant management in High End international culinary hubs such as Dubai, London, Paris.

• Exceptional leadership and communication skills.

• Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy environment.

• Keen understanding of Mediterranean fusion cuisine and an appreciation for seafood.

• A network to assist in recruiting top-notch staff.

• Flexibility in accommodation, with the option of accommodation assistance for the first three months.

 

 Candidate Specifications:

• Language Skills: Dutch proficiency is a plus but not mandatory.

• Must be eligible to work in Europe.

 






Benefits

Salary and Working Conditions: A competitive gross salary of 6,000 EUR per month/ 4,000 EUR/NET and 1,000 EUR in tips per month.

The working conditions include 6 working days, with 1 day off during the pre-opening period (up to 6 months)



and later transitioning to 5 working days with 2 days off.





Accommodation: provided Free for the first 3 months, Studio apartment, after that the Employer will help with finding suitable accommodation or negotiate using the same studio apartment.
