We are seeking a detail-oriented and process-driven Reverse Supervisor to lead our reverse logistics operations in Rotterdam. This critical role focuses on managing returns, refurbishments, and recycling processes while ensuring efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with sustainability standards. Oversee daily reverse logistics operations, including returns processing, quality inspections, refurbishments, and recycling.
Lead and develop a team of associates, ensuring high performance, safety compliance, and adherence to company standards.
Conduct regular team meetings to communicate targets, process updates, and performance metrics.
Manage inventory of returned goods, ensuring accurate tracking and efficient disposition (restock, repair, recycle, or dispose).
Collaborate with quality control teams to assess returned products and determine appropriate actions.
Implement and monitor KPIs (e.g., processing time, cost per return, recovery rate) to drive operational improvements.
Troubleshoot bottlenecks in the returns process and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and company sustainability goals.
Work closely with customer service, procurement, and outbound teams to streamline reverse logistics workflows.
Maintain accurate records and generate reports on returns volume, reasons, and outcomes.
Experience: 3+ years in reverse logistics, warehouse operations, or production, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
Skills: Strong leadership, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and Microsoft Office.
Mindset: Process-oriented, data-driven, and committed to sustainability.
Background in e-commerce, retail, or electronics refurbishment.
Knowledge of Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
Experience with automation in returns processing.
