Sales Engineer

The Sales Engineer bridges customer requirements and technical solutions by preparing cost calculations and quotations for electrotechnical and automation systems in the maritime sector. The role involves gathering technical information, developing suitable solutions, and coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver accurate proposals.

Responsibilities

Prepare cost calculations, budgets, and quotations for electrotechnical and automation systems.

Gather and assess technical information based on customer requirements.

Develop and propose suitable technical solutions.

Translate customer needs into clear, commercially viable proposals.

Coordinate with colleagues across different disciplines.

Manage customer requests and ensure smooth follow-up throughout the quotation process.

Requirements

MBO or HBO education, preferably in Electrical Engineering.

Experience in a technical environment, preferably within the maritime sector.

Good command of English.

Strong technical insight and problem-solving skills.

Ability to make decisions and take responsibility.

Good communication skills to connect customer needs with technical solutions.

Independent, proactive, and able to work effectively in a team.

Locations: Drachten, Nijmegen, Krimpen a/d IJssel
