Job Description - SAP BASIS Consultant

Help design, build and continuously improve the clients online platform.

Research, suggest and implement new technology solutions following best practices/standards.

Take responsibility for the resiliency and availability of different products.

Requirements

10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BASIS administration and support.

Administer, maintain, and support SAP landscapes, ensuring high availability, performance, and stability across production and non-production environments.

Manage SAP BASIS activities for SAP S/4HANA, ECC, BW, EWM, and other SAP applications.

Plan and execute SAP system installations, configurations, upgrades, patches, and refresh activities.

Lead and support cloud migration initiatives, including migration planning, execution, and post-migration stabilization.

Perform ECC to SAP HANA database migrations and support SAP S/4HANA transformation projects.

Ensure the availability, maintenance, monitoring, and optimization of production SAP landscapes.

Install, configure, and administer SAP HANA databases, SAP Landscape Transformation (SLT), and SAP NetWeaver Gateway.

Execute SAP kernel upgrades, support package implementations, and release upgrade activities.

Perform system performance tuning, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and issue resolution across SAP environments.

Support disaster recovery planning, backup and recovery strategies, and system security compliance.

Collaborate with functional, infrastructure, database, and cloud teams to deliver reliable and scalable SAP solutions.

Support operating system migrations, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) migration and administration activities.

Strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA and SAP HANA Database administration.

Proven experience with cloud migration projects involving SAP landscapes.

Extensive experience managing production support, system maintenance, and upgrade activities.

Hands-on experience with ECC to SAP HANA database migration projects.

Strong knowledge of SAP HANA Database, SAP SLT, and SAP NetWeaver Gateway setup and administration.

Experience performing SAP Kernel upgrades, release upgrades, and patch management.

Working knowledge of SAP ECC, SAP HANA, SAP BW, and SAP EWM environments.

Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) migration and administration.

Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and system monitoring skills.

Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving abilities.
