Job Description - SAP MDG Lead Consultant (ID: 3141)

As a SAP MDG Lead Consultant, you will:

Design, develop, and deliver innovative SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) solutions aligned with enterprise data management strategies.
Lead SAP MDG implementations, including at least one SAP S/4HANA MDG FI engagement.
Oversee MDG data models, UI configurations, workflows, validations, derivations, and BRF rules.
Develop and optimize ABAP enhancements, BADIs, BAPIs, user exits, and OData services.
Guide development teams, conduct code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure quality deliverables.
Design and implement integrations between MDG, SAP ECC/S4 HANA, SAP PI/PO, CPI, and external systems.
Work with IDocs, RFCs, ALE, BAPIs, and web services to enable seamless data distribution.
Provide expert guidance on MDG domains (Material, Business Partner, Customer, Vendor, Finance).
Lead workshops, prepare functional/technical specifications, and support UAT activities.
Contribute to data quality, governance policies, and process harmonization initiatives.
Act as a trusted advisor for stakeholders on SAP MDG strategy, roadmap, and innovations.

What You Bring to the Table:

8–10 years of experience in SAP MDG with strong techno-functional expertise.
Proven experience in at least 1 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA MDG FI implementation.
Deep hands-on expertise with ABAP, BRF, FPM/UI, Workflow, BADIs/BAPIs, OData, and DRF.
Strong knowledge of MDG domains: Business Partner, Material, Vendor, Customer, and Finance.
Experience integrating MDG with SAP ECC/S4 HANA and external applications.
Proven background in SAP PI/PO, CPI, IDocs, Web Services, ALE, and RFC.
Strong techno-functional skillset bridging IT and business needs.

You should possess the ability to:

Lead teams, conduct reviews, and ensure quality in delivery.
Translate business needs into robust SAP MDG solutions.
Collaborate effectively with enterprise architects and business stakeholders.
Facilitate workshops and present solutions clearly to diverse audiences.
Balance strategic vision with hands-on execution in hybrid system landscapes.
Work independently while fostering teamwork and knowledge sharing.
