Job Purpose
Coordinate most aspects of Supply Chain operational activities, including RFQ, Customer Requirement Request projects, from start to finish, completed on time with a short- or mid-term scope, with external contacts and cross departmental internal contacts.
Responsibilites and Tasks
- Monitor and control the inbound flow and where necessary communicate and support the stakeholders to have an on-time process
- Identify potential risks, estimate cost impact or cost saving results, monitoring that risks do not occur, that such savings or results are obtained and reporting the status on a regular basis
- Develop standards and process or work specifications, documentation required for processes
- Implement SCM related customer requirements for short- or mid-term scope; coordinating with internal (cross departmental) and external stakeholders, including (but not limited to) EDI, aupply method and routing and labeling
- Coordinate preventive and corrective actions for SCM complaints or recurring deviations in processes, to improve SCM and Warehouse processes, including IT request preparation
- Perform administrative tasks and keep adequate and relevant records of activities, documents or incidents and update USSO and master files, as well as coordinate SCM related registrations, as assigned at the European offices
- Issue reports or statistics related to the assigned tasks when required, perform verification or checks on invoices from forwarding agents and confirm invoices checked to Finance for payment
Required Knowledge/Experience
- Bachelor or Master (preferred) degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management
- 1 to 4 years of experience in Supply Chain Management
- Experience in Supply Management, good knowledge of General trade and transport requirements; experience in Purchasing- and/or Customer service activities is preferred
- Experience in, or affinity with international business environment
- Ability to communicate with internal and external customers in English on a full professional proficiency; local language skills preferred
- Experience in MS Office and WMS
