Job Description - Scrum Master

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to optimize our Agile processes and ensure efficient product development from idea to delivery. Working closely with our Product Manager/Product Owner and development teams, you will facilitate Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban), manage documentation, oversee Jira boards, plan sprints, and coordinate meetings. Your role is pivotal in keeping everyone efficient, aligned, and focused on delivering high-quality products.

Act as a servant leader and coach for Agile teams, promoting Agile best practices.
Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Manage and update Jira boards to ensure transparency and effective workflow.
Collaborate with the Product Manager/Product Owner to maintain a well-defined and prioritized product backlog.
Remove impediments and blockers to enhance team productivity.
Coordinate cross-team communication to align efforts and optimize delivery.
Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile practices and continuous improvement.
Assist with estimating epics and user stories in the backlog.
Promote a culture of continuous learning and adaptation within the team.

Proven experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role.
Deep understanding of Agile principles and methodologies (Scrum and Kanban).
Proficiency in Jira and other Agile project management tools.
Excellent organizational, communication, and facilitation skills.
Ability to work effectively with multiple teams and manage cross-team coordination.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to remove obstacles proactively.
