Job Description - Senior Account Manager | Benelux (all genders)

The Role


To strengthen our team, we are looking for a Senior Account Manager (all genders) to own and grow a portfolio of customers across the Benelux region. This is a full-cycle account ownership role, where you will be responsible for retention, expansion, renewals, and long-term customer value. You will act as the primary commercial owner for your customers, building trusted relationships with finance leaders, identifying growth opportunities, and ensuring clients maximise value from Lucanet’s platform. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys long-term account development, commercial ownership, and strategic relationship management.


What you'll do




  • Own and grow a portfolio of Benelux-based customers, driving retention, expansion, and long-term revenue.



  • Act as the primary point of contact for commercial and relationship management across your accounts.



  • Lead renewals, upsell, cross-sell, and pricing discussions, ensuring sustainable customer growth.



  • Build strong relationships with CFOs, finance leaders, controllers, and other senior stakeholders.



  • Identify opportunities to expand platform adoption across Lucanet’s product suite.



  • Partner closely with Customer Success, Solutions, and Sales to ensure excellent customer outcomes.



  • Forecast revenue accurately, maintain CRM hygiene, and manage pipeline visibility.



  • Represent Lucanet as a trusted advisor, helping customers solve complex finance and reporting challenges.



What you bring to the table




  • Proven experience in Account Management with commercial ownership, ideally in SaaS or B2B software.



  • Confidence managing renewals, expansions, negotiations, and long-term customer relationships.



  • Experience working with finance stakeholders or financially focused products is highly desirable.



  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, comfortable engaging senior decision-makers.



  • Commercially minded, customer-centric, and motivated by growing account value over time.



  • High software affinity and ability to understand complex platforms quickly.



  • Fluent Dutch and English is required for Benelux coverage.



  • Experience managing customers across Benelux or international markets is a plus.
