Tasks

Scope of Work

1. Review, evaluate, and annotate financial reports and statements for accuracy and completeness, providing insights based on established accounting standards.
2. Assess and critique audit procedures, identifying gaps, best practices, and regulatory considerations for diverse business scenarios.
3. Create and assess financial models, ensuring logical structure, accuracy, and actionable insights.
4. Analyze and provide feedback on tax compliance practices and documentation, highlighting risks and compliance issues.
5. Review a variety of legal and financial documents, offering detailed feedback on clarity, correctness, and alignment with regulations.
6. Deliver clear and constructive written and verbal feedback on project materials, ensuring effective communication with cross-functional teams.
7. Support the development and evaluation of data sets for AI training, leveraging your prior experience with human data processes such as data labeling, annotation, or model evaluation.

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

1. 5+ years of corporate-level accounting experience with a track record of handling complex financial scenarios.
2. Strong proficiency in financial reporting, audit procedures, financial modeling, tax compliance, and legal document review.
3. Demonstrated experience in providing actionable feedback and communicating findings effectively in both written and verbal formats.
4. Prior participation in human data projects such as data labeling, annotation, reinforcement learning from human feedback (RLHF), or model evaluation.
5. Keen analytical skills with meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
6. Adaptability and a growth mindset, with a passion for leveraging accounting knowledge in innovative contexts.
7. Profile as a strong and reliable accounting professional who thrives in independent and collaborative project engagements.
