We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Business Applications Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing business applications, particularly in financial and customs systems. You are capable of managing vendor relationships, conducting quarterly business reviews (QBRs), and efficiently escalating issues. A problem-solver with excellent communication skills, you will be expected to drive improvements, ensure smooth application integration, and maintain high levels of service quality. Additionally, experience with cross-functional collaboration and Agile methodologies will be highly valued.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Take the lead in managing and improving core business applications such as WMS, TMS, Customs, and Finance Systems.
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand business needs and translate them into scalable, sustainable solutions.
• Design and optimize interfaces and integrations between systems, ensuring data flows securely and efficiently.
• Handle incident resolution, escalations, and act as the key liaison with external vendors for issue follow-up and contract governance.
• Support QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews) with suppliers and ensure they deliver to SLA and performance expectations.
• Ensure application development and change management follow Agile methodology and best practices.
• Drive innovation by identifying opportunities for automation, improved user experience, and system reliability.

What You Bring:

• Educational Background: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Business IT, or Mathematics/Applied Science.
• Professional Depth: 5+ years of hands-on experience in application management, specifically within Supply Chain or Logistics.
• Technical Toolkit: * Strong grasp of WMS/TMS/ERP logic. Proficiency in PL/SQL and a strong interest or experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (AL).Experience with Low-code (Power Platform) and Scripting (Python) to drive rapid innovation.
• Vendor Management: Proven track record in contract governance and holding external partners accountable for performance.
• Communication Bridge: You speak "Business" and "IT" fluently. You can translate complex operational needs into technical specifications.
