Senior Business Controller

As a Senior Business Controller, you’ll drive financial strategy and operational efficiency by delivering actionable insights and championing data-driven decision-making. In this role, you’ll work cross-functionally with senior leadership, internal finance teams, and global stakeholders to optimize budgeting, forecasting, and performance. Accountabilities:

• Translate financial data into meaningful insights to support senior management and key stakeholders.
• Enhance financial reporting systems and improve processes using tools such as Anaplan.
• Build and consolidate financial statements from various models, ensuring accurate forecasting and budgeting.
• Lead and contribute to strategic business cases, proactively identifying financial opportunities.
• Collaborate closely with Booking.com on financial planning, reporting, and ad hoc requests.
• Drive cross-functional discussions and projects by introducing financial perspectives and recommendations.
• Take ownership of deliverables while engaging with internal teams to align finance with broader business goals.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Engineering, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in business control or financial analysis.
• Proficiency with financial planning tools (e.g., Anaplan) and BI platforms (e.g., Tableau).
• Highly skilled in Microsoft Excel and Google Slides/PowerPoint.
• Proven ability to lead projects independently and deliver results on time.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to influence cross-departmental decisions.
• Analytical thinker with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and working in a fast-growing, evolving environment.
