The Action:

As a Senior Game Designer at GoSpooky, you are responsible for representing our clients to gaming audiences, and vice versa. You will define and own the strategy for gaming environments to meet our clients' marketing needs while ensuring an engaging gameplay experience for the players on platforms like Roblox and Fortnite. You will create a vision for how we will position clients on gaming platforms, and break this vision down in the shorter term by designing gameplay and core mechanics. You will collaborate with both our team of creative game developers and artists, as well as our clients to bring your vision of the brand’s representation on social gaming platforms to life.

Core responsibilities:

• Define and maintain the creative vision for brand integrations in gaming platforms.


• Design gameplay and core mechanics to ensure engaging and fun experiences for players.


• Develop long-term game roadmaps for client projects, and plan the milestones required to take us there.


• Use a data & metrics-driven strategy to continuously improve player retention & acquisition, in-game economies, team balancing, and brand marketing KPIs.


• Communicate closely with stakeholders to define and refine the game experience for branded social games.


• Represent and advocate for the best gaming platforms suited to our clients’ marketing objectives.


• Stay updated with emerging trends, technologies, and player behavior in social gaming.

What you'll bring:

• 4-5 years of industry experience in game design, specifically with a focus on branded content.


• Demonstrated ability to represent clients, players, and platforms effectively.


• Affinity with Roblox and/or Fortnite custom games.


• Proven track record of blending multiple interests into a single coherent vision and strategy.


• Good understanding of improving player engagement metrics.


• Experience managing client relationships and leading project teams is highly desirable.


• Fluency in English

Nice-to-have:

• Fluency in Dutch would be a plus.


• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, especially as a product owner.


• Experience in a digital marketing agency.


• Experience with paid media (Sponsored Ads, Portal Ads) campaigns on Roblox.


• Experience with economy balancing in Roblox.


• Experience with Roblox Studio, Fortnite Creative, or Unreal Editor For Fortnite.
