As a Senior HR Business Partner, you work closely with managers to ensure teams function optimally and to foster personal growth and well-being. Additionally, you analyze complex HR issues and translate them into effective HR strategies, while playing a key role in strategic HR projects with organization-wide impact. How exactly you achieve this is up to you. We rely on the way you take charge, make choices, and take responsibility for them.
You apply your talents to:
• Navigating Schiphol’s complex stakeholder landscape and collaborating effectively with both internal and external HR colleagues to realize HR projects and files in a goal-oriented manner.
• Coaching and guiding your own HRBP team to ensure a uniform working method, high quality of advice, and consistency in policy implementation within the Business Team.
• Leading and guiding projects in collaboration with the HR Hub (expertise centers), the business, or within your own HR business team.
• Act as an extension of the Head of(s) of the Business Team, playing a leading and guiding role in projects and improvements within the business or HR organization.
• Guiding organizational changes and advising on the personnel consequences of organizational changes.
What are you going to do?
As a Senior HR Business Partner, you are an experienced and versatile professional who stands firm, both within Schiphol and in other organizations, large corporations, or political environments. With your substantive knowledge and people-oriented, coaching approach, you know how to persuade, and you excel in your approachability and visibility to both the business and your HR colleagues.
• University-level working and thinking skills, supplemented with in-depth HR expertise and relevant work experience (at least 8 years).
• Demonstrable experience in an all-round, business-facing HR business partner role within complex (medium-sized) large (corporate) organizations.
• Knowledge of relevant labor laws and regulations and the ability to make appropriate (risk) assessments and proactively resolve cases or escalate them in a timely manner.
• Good communication skills in both Dutch and English. You are persuasive and can anticipate future challenges and opportunities. You are environmentally aware and have experience in guiding (organizational) change.
