TEAM AND ROLE:

As a Senior HR Business Partner in the People & Culture department, you will play a strategic role partnering with senior leaders to build a sustainable, high-performing organization and drive business growth in a scalable way. This is not a typical HRBP role, it’s for someone who thrives close to the business, enjoys solving challenges, and sees opportunities to create smart, scalable ways of working. With an entrepreneurial, data-driven mindset and strong HR expertise, you will deliver solutions that elevate both people and performance in a fast-moving, scale-up environment. You stay calm in constant change, think quickly, and challenge constructively, equally comfortable shaping long-term strategy and making tactical decisions that help leaders and teams move forward today.


Please note: this is a 6-month maternity leave cover from March 15 - October 15 2026 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Partner with senior leaders as a trusted advisor, supporting team growth, leadership effectiveness, and organizational decision making.

  • Translate business challenges into pragmatic people solutions that balance fast execution with long-term strategic thinking.

  • Challenge and coach leaders constructively, offering clarity and perspective and strengthening leadership behaviors.

  • Lead and contribute to key people programs such as performance management, talent development, and engagement.

  • Strengthen our STX culture and build scalable, human-centered HR initiatives in close collaboration with cross-functional teams (like Talent Acquisition, HR Services, Human Capital Development, and outside the People & Culture department).

  • Use data-driven insights to influence change and decision making, improve the employee experience, and shape and execute the people strategy in alignment with our STX objectives.


 


KEY REQUIREMENTS



  • 8+ years of HR experience, including 5+ years as an HR Business Partner in a global, dynamic, and preferably scale-up environment; bachelor’s degree required, master’s preferred; fluent in English (Dutch is a pre, other languages a plus).

  • Strong experience handling a wide range of employee cases and solid knowledge of Dutch labor and social laws (additional experience in other European countries, the US, or APAC is a plus).

  • Broad HR expertise across designing and executing people programs (e.g., performance, engagement, succession, culture), and leading cross-functional projects and change management initiatives

  • Ability to connect business outcomes with people initiatives, combining strong business insight, HR know-how, and creative problem-solving.

  • Outstanding communication, influencing, and stakeholder-management skills, with proven capability in executive coaching and driving change.

  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on and to the point mindset, data-driven approach, strong problem-solving abilities, and that is independent, proactive and shows ownership, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast-moving environment shows initiative.
