Job title - (Senior) Lab Technician Location - Delft, The Netherlands Join our passionate Dairy Application Team meeting the demands for delicious dairy and plant‑based products. As (Senior) Lab Technician and UHT expert, you run trials, create prototypes, and assess physical properties, shaping customer solutions. Contribute meaningfully in a creative lab environment where curiosity, expertise, and collaboration deliver healthier, tastier products for people and planet. Your key responsibilities Prepare your trials including e.g. setting up the test equipment and arranging the necessary raw materials. Accurately plan and independently execute trials in the laboratory to develop applications, test (new) ingredients or demonstrate product benefits to customers. Collect data of multiple types of analyses (e.g. chemical, rheological) with respect to ingredients and final products. Report your results, for further development and participate in drawing conclusions and recommendations. Perform activities in line with the food safety and QESSH standards/regulations and share your ideas to further improvement of way of working. Demonstrate equipment and lab ownership, especially equipment owner and principle user for compact, complete UHT pilot installation. You bring MBO/HBO in Food Technology or related field, with early experience and growth ambition in a lab context. Practical UHT operation experience (3-5 years) and hands-on background in dairy processing and product development/research. Motivated to work in an innovation‑driven, dynamic business environment, taking ownership of project activities. Flexible, curious, and effective in managing multiple experiments and work streams with strong organizational skills. Strong team collaborator who shares ideas, contributes to progress, and brings accuracy and rigor in experiment implementation. English proficiency required; Dutch is an advantage.
