As our clients increasingly value our insights and opinions alongside our data, we are expanding our data-driven advisory services. We seek a passionate, analytical, and client-focused Senior Management Consultant to lead and expand our advisory services in games, media, and entertainment. 

In this role, you will provide value to our clients through strategic partnerships while leveraging your quantitative capabilities and project management and consulting experience. You will guide corporate clients at the C-level in making critical business decisions by fully understanding their requirements, conducting robust analyses, and serving as a key strategic sparring partner.  

Key responsibilities

• Identify, scope, and sell new consulting projects, expanding our client base and service offerings


• Lead and oversee the execution of data-driven advisory projects for global clients, including analysis for major investment decisions, strategy development, and business development   


• Develop and maintain deep industry knowledge, staying ahead of trends, best practices, and strategies 


• Build brand equity for yourself and Newzoo by speaking at industry events, participating in media engagements (e.g., podcasts), and publishing insightful content 


• Share your personal views on trends and future developments to C-suite executives, positioning yourself as a trusted strategic advisor in the games, media, and interactive entertainment sectors 


• Collaborate with internal stakeholders on the development and marketing of reports, publications, data-based products, and services 


• Identify and pursue new commercial opportunities in data-driven advisory services, including in adjacent markets


• Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering their growth and expertise 

Your profile

• A demonstrable affinity for and knowledge of the PC & console video games industry, previous experience a major plus; 


• 5+ years of work experience in a client-facing, advisory role e.g., consulting, business development, strategy, or corporate finance; 


• MSc degree in Economics, Finance, or a similar field with a grounding in statistics/math; 


• Advanced PowerPoint, data visualization, and Excel skills; basic SQL is a big plus;


• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to synthesize large amounts of information into actionable insights; 


• Proven ability to work independently and lead projects with minimal guidance; 


• Proven ability to lead and influence others with successful cross-functional project management experience; 


• Demonstrated commercial and business development skills; 


• Outstanding written and oral communication skills, with professional mastery of English; 


• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to identify and develop new business opportunities; 


• Experience presenting at events or participating in media engagements is a plus;
