(Senior) Manager Workday | Global Business Services (GBS)

Together, we transform business operations to significantly enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and agility.

We are seeking a (Senior) Manager to join our GBS team in The Netherlands. In this role you will drive strategic transformations, focusing on operational efficiency, service quality and leveraging technology to deliver market‑leading GBS solutions. You will work within a multidisciplinary team across industries. You will support GBS engagements by coaching junior colleagues and applying Deloitte’s methodologies.

You will also support core finance process areas such as Order‑to‑Cash (O2C), Procure‑to‑Pay (P2P) and Record-to-Report (R2R), leading process re‑imagination and improvement initiatives and helping deliver implementations (ERP, automation, process‑mining and other technology‑enabled solutions). You will combine process expertise with technology and data to improve transaction quality, cycle times, controls and customer/supplier experience.

• Over 6 years consulting experience in GBS, Shared Services and/or Business Process Outsourcing (BPO), with practical, hands‑on experience in O2C P2P and/or R2R transformations.
• Track record delivering end‑to‑end process redesign and technology‑enabled implementations (ERP – preferably experience with Workday Finance, Procurement and/or platform -, automation, process‑mining, workflow).
• Experience with implementing and certifications in Workday Finance (e.g. O2C, P2P and/or R2R) is a strong advantage.
• Experience defining operating models, control frameworks and governance for transactional finance processes.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver projects to time, budget and quality standards, including managing cross‑functional workstreams and third‑party vendors.
• Commercial acumen: experience contributing to bids/proposals and expanding engagement scope through client development.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills with senior client executives.
• Experience coaching and mentoring junior staff; comfortable leading workstreams and client workshops.
• Proficiency in English; Dutch is a strong advantage.

• Drive end‑to‑end GBS transformation workstreams across O2C, P2P and R2R, including process re‑design, adoption of the standard, target operating model definition and transition planning.
• Lead process discovery and current‑state analysis using for example process‑mining, data analytics and stakeholder engagement to define root causes and prioritize improvement opportunities.
• Design and deliver technology‑enabled solutions (e.g.: ERP like Workday Finance and Procurement,  integrations, automation, workflow).
• Manage delivery and commercial aspects of engagements: plan and execute workstreams to time, budget and quality standards, mitigate risks, and contribute to proposals and client development to grow the engagement.
