Job Description - Senior .NET / C# Developer (ID: 4045)

As a Senior .NET / C# Developer, you will:

Design, develop, maintain, and support enterprise-grade applications using C#, .NET Core/.NET 8, ASP.NET Core, and Web API.
Build and optimize microservices-based architectures for banking, lending, and credit platforms.
Develop secure and scalable RESTful APIs for loan origination, credit processing, customer onboarding, and payment systems.
Design and implement cloud-native solutions leveraging Microsoft Azure services.
Collaborate with business analysts, architects, product owners, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
Ensure applications comply with banking security, audit, governance, and regulatory standards.
Perform application performance tuning, troubleshooting, debugging, and production support.
Lead code reviews and enforce software development best practices.
Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the development team.
Participate in Agile ceremonies and technical design discussions.
Support CI/CD implementation and DevOps practices.
Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable, reliable, and maintainable banking and financial services applications.

What You Bring to the Table:

10+ years of overall professional software development experience.
Minimum 8 years of hands-on C#/.NET development experience.
Minimum 5 years of experience with .NET Core and Microsoft Azure.
Minimum 3 years of experience in Banking, Lending, or Credit domain projects.
Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET Framework 4.x.
Strong experience with .NET Core / .NET 6/7/8.
Experience with ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, Web API, and REST services.
Strong knowledge of Entity Framework / EF Core and LINQ.
Hands-on experience with REST APIs and microservices.
Strong Microsoft Azure experience, including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Service Bus, Azure Storage/Blob Storage, Azure SQL Database, Azure Key Vault, Azure Application Insights, Azure API Management, Azure DevOps, and Azure AD/Entra ID.
Experience with Azure Logic Apps is advantageous.
Strong SQL Server expertise, including stored procedures, query optimization, and database design.
Experience with messaging technologies such as Azure Service Bus; RabbitMQ or Kafka experience is advantageous.
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps Pipelines, CI/CD, and Git.
Experience with Docker.
Knowledge of Kubernetes is advantageous.
Experience working in Commercial Banking, Retail Banking, Corporate Banking, Lending, or Credit environments.
Strong understanding of secure and scalable enterprise application development.

You should possess the ability to:

Design and develop robust C#/.NET applications, APIs, and microservices.
Build secure, scalable, and high-performance RESTful APIs for banking and credit systems.
Develop cloud-native applications using Microsoft Azure services.
Work effectively with Azure compute, integration, storage, security, monitoring, and API management services.
Design and optimize microservices architectures for enterprise financial applications.
Work with SQL Server databases, stored procedures, query optimization, and database design.
Implement asynchronous and event-driven integrations using Azure Service Bus and other messaging technologies.
Troubleshoot complex application and production issues and perform effective root-cause analysis.
Conduct application performance tuning and implement appropriate optimization strategies.
Apply security, audit, governance, and regulatory requirements within banking applications.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Work with Git, Docker, and modern DevOps practices.
Conduct effective code reviews and maintain high development standards.
Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.
Translate complex business requirements into practical and maintainable technical solutions.
Collaborate effectively with architects, business analysts, product owners, developers, and other stakeholders.
Work effectively in an Agile development environment.
