Executing Incident Management (2nd and 3rd level) on the clients Telecom network and assuming technical control over complex incidents and disruptions, involving teams, suppliers, and stakeholders to restore service as quickly as possible.
Drafting and executing Change Implementation Plans (CIPs).
Writing, checking, and securing technical management acceptance criteria based on designs.
Participate in project teams as an executive project member.
Monitoring the lifecycle of network technical solutions in collaboration with architects, designers, and suppliers, and providing input for multi-year plans.
Writing service operating procedures (SOPs) for proactive and reactive management tasks.
Performing Problem Management activities, including analyzing common incidents and preparing Root Cause Analyses (RCAs).
Fulfilling an active role in the Life Cycle Management process for the equipment and infrastructure managed by the NMC.
Identifying and realizing opportunities for further automation, monitoring, and standardization of management tasks.
Identifying and initiating improvements in processes, procedures, tooling, and management activities to further increase the quality and efficiency of the NMC.
Initiating and facilitating knowledge transfer within the NMC through coaching, training, knowledge sessions, and mentoring colleagues.

You have a strong sense of responsibility, are focused and solution-oriented. Furthermore, you are persistent and a team player. What else we ask of you for the position of Senior Network Administrator:
You have at least 5 years of experience as a Network Engineer / Network Administrator on a NOC/NMC.
You have completed a Bachelor's degree in ICT or higher (for example, a degree in (Technical) Informatics).
You have broad knowledge of network equipment from various vendors such as Cisco, Nokia, and Fortinet.
You hold CCNP certification (or similar).
Fortinet certification is a plus.
Experience with forward and reverse proxies is a plus.
You have extensive experience working with routing protocols such as OSPF, ISIS, and BGP.
You have extensive experience with Ethernet/MPLS and IP networks.
You have extensive experience with firewalls.
You have good process-related knowledge (ITIL certification is a plus).
You are solution-oriented and can work both independently and as part of a team.
You are accurate and work in a structured manner towards the team's objectives.
You have good communication skills (written and verbal) in Dutch.
You are willing to participate in breakdown and on-call duty.
You are willing to take training programs and courses.
