Job Description - Senior Network Engineer F5 Load Balancer Specialist (ID: 3053)

As a Senior Network Engineer – F5 Load Balancer Specialist, you will:

Troubleshoot and resolve critical connectivity or performance issues across Layer 1 to Layer 7 involving F5 load balancers and PRA (Privileged Remote Access) systems.
Implement and maintain security configurations on F5 LTM and GTM to mitigate threats and ensure compliance with network security best practices.
Collaborate with application and software development teams to design and optimize load balancing strategies tailored to application needs.
Perform installation and configuration of F5 appliances, ensuring alignment with business and technical requirements.
Participate in on-call rotations and respond promptly to high-priority incidents to minimize service disruption.
Work in 24/7 shift environments to ensure continuous support and availability of network services.

What You Bring to the Table:

10+ years of experience in network engineering with specialization in load balancing and F5 technologies.
Deep expertise in F5 LTM, GTM, iRules, and Network Load Balancers (NLB).
Solid exposure to Cisco routing/switching, as well as cloud-based load balancers in AWS and Azure.
Comprehensive understanding of application ports, traffic flow, and protocol-level optimization.
Proven experience in maintaining secure, high-performing, and scalable network environments.

You should possess the ability to:

Analyze and troubleshoot complex load balancing and network issues efficiently.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including DevOps, security, and infrastructure.
Adapt to evolving infrastructure and security requirements in hybrid and cloud environments.
Remain proactive under pressure, especially during critical incidents or service degradations.
Manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively within a 24/7 support framework.
