Job Description - Senior QA Engineer (ID: 3963)

As a Senior QA Engineer, you will:

Define and implement comprehensive test strategies to ensure maximum test coverage.
Perform end-to-end functional, regression, system integration, and API testing.
Test web, mobile, and API-based applications to ensure quality and reliability.
Execute and coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities.
Work closely with Scrum teams to deliver high-quality software in Agile environments.
Manage test planning, execution, and reporting using Azure DevOps or similar test management tools.
Validate REST APIs using tools such as Postman.
Develop and maintain test automation frameworks, preferably using Python-based tools such as Robot Framework or PyTest.
Perform SQL database validation and data integrity testing using Microsoft SQL Server.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, analyse, and resolve software defects.
Support continuous quality improvement through effective testing practices and automation.

What You Bring to the Table:

8+ years of overall experience in Software Quality Assurance.
Minimum 2 years of practical experience working in Scrum/Agile environments.
Bachelor's degree or higher in an IT-related field.
Strong experience in defining and implementing test strategies.
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps or similar test management tools.
Strong knowledge of SQL databases, preferably Microsoft SQL Server.
Experience testing REST APIs using Postman or similar tools.
Expertise in testing web, mobile, and API-based applications.
Strong experience in functional, regression, and system integration testing.
Knowledge of banking, payment processing, or credit card systems is highly desirable.
Experience with test automation using Python-based frameworks such as Robot Framework or PyTest is preferred.
Experience coordinating and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Understanding of non-functional testing concepts is an advantage.
ISTQB Foundation or Advanced certification in Test Analysis or Agile Testing is preferred.
Experience with Temenos Transact Core Banking System is an advantage.
Previous experience as a Business Analyst, Developer, or similar technical role is considered an asset.

You should possess the ability to:

Design and execute effective test strategies for complex enterprise applications.
Identify, document, and track software defects throughout the testing lifecycle.
Perform comprehensive functional, integration, regression, and API testing.
Analyse database records and validate data using SQL queries.
Automate test scenarios to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
Collaborate effectively with developers, business analysts, and product owners within Agile Scrum teams.
Coordinate User Acceptance Testing activities with business stakeholders.
Ensure software quality while meeting project timelines and delivery goals.
Adapt to evolving technologies and continuously improve testing processes.
