Job Description - Senior SAP Basis Consultant (ID: 3836)

As a Senior SAP Basis Consultant, you will:

Manage and support SAP Basis administration activities across SAP landscapes, ensuring system stability, performance, and availability.
Lead SAP migration initiatives from on -premise environments to cloud platforms for both SAP HANA and Oracle -based systems.
Perform SAP system installations, upgrades, patching, and refresh activities across development, testing, and production environments.
Administer and support SAP Landscape Transformation (SLT) replication and SAP Cloud Connector configurations.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize SAP environments to ensure business continuity and operational excellence.
Collaborate with infrastructure, database, security, and application teams during migration and transformation projects.
Support integration activities between SAP and non -SAP applications, ensuring seamless data exchange and connectivity.
Implement best practices for system performance tuning, capacity planning, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.
Ensure compliance with organizational security standards, governance policies, and operational procedures.
Participate in project planning, architecture discussions, and technical solution design for SAP landscape modernization initiatives.

What You Bring to the Table:

6–8 years of experience in SAP Basis Administration and SAP system management.
Strong hands -on experience administering SAP environments running on SAP HANA and Oracle databases.
Proven experience executing SAP migration projects to public or private cloud environments.
Expertise in SAP installation, upgrades, system copies, kernel upgrades, and patch management activities.
Hands -on experience with SAP SLT (Landscape Transformation Replication) and SAP Cloud Connector administration.
Solid understanding of SAP architecture, transport management, and system monitoring.
Experience supporting integrations between SAP and non -SAP applications.
Knowledge of high availability, disaster recovery, backup, and recovery strategies for SAP landscapes.
Strong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and root -cause analysis capabilities.
Excellent stakeholder communication and coordination skills within enterprise environments.
Fluency in Dutch and/or French is highly preferred.

You Should Possess the Ability to:

Lead SAP migration and transformation initiatives with minimal supervision.
Analyze complex technical issues and implement sustainable solutions.
Coordinate with cross -functional teams during upgrades, migrations, and integration activities.
Ensure high system availability, reliability, and performance across SAP environments.
Manage multiple priorities while maintaining adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and business stakeholders.
Proactively identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies for critical SAP infrastructure components.
Support enterprise -wide SAP modernization and cloud adoption programs.
