What will you be doing?

Within the retail department, you are primarily responsible for generating insights that help Circana's customers achieve growth. For our customers, you provide a complete analysis using a clear storyboard and the SOLV model. You have access to all retail data and trends from the FMCG market. Together with the Consultant, you interpret the results to translate them into strategic recommendations, but also into action-oriented advice. The final presentation will be given to the customer by you.

As a Senior Strategic Insights Analyst, you are also responsible for the development of You are an important link in the internal customer team and ensure the coordination of customer projects. In addition, you are a coach for our working students and interns. Depending on your expertise, you will take part in a project group or be a project leader where necessary. You report to the retail director.

Job Responsibilities

• Maintaining contact and relationships with the client together with the consultants


• Performing numerical analyses and drawing up and testing hypotheses with the aim of identifying growth opportunities for the client, based on client questions, but also proactively.


• Independently presenting results to the client.


• Supporting the consultant in making research proposals.


• Responsible for formulating the specifications of a given project and determining the expected lead time.


• Responsible for obtaining retailer approvals for projects.


• Thinking along about possible improvements in process, degree of automation, etc. and implementing this where necessary through a project group


• Coaching fellow working students and interns

Requirements

• HBO/University education (preferably commercial and/or marketing)


• Analytical skills


• Able to convert analyses into insights and actions


• Knowledge of the FMCG and/or retail market


• Knowledge of (Trade) Marketing and Sales


• Result-oriented


• Team player


• Proactive


• Flexible


• Excellent communication skills


• Hands-on mentality


• Excellent command of MS-office: especially Excel and PowerPoint


• 5+ years of experience in FMCG


• Good command of the English language
