Serivce Technician

Every day, together with around 1,300 colleagues and in a state-of-the-art machine park, we work on innovative solutions for homes, offices, cars, gardens, and sports fields. Our production techniques focus on tufting and non-woven technology.

The Technical Service Department at the is a flat, learning-oriented organization where collaboration and independence are key. Each team member has their own area of responsibility and works together to drive ongoing process improvements.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Resolving mechanical and electrical malfunctions in machines, production lines, and utilities;
• Performing preventive maintenance and inspections;
• Analyzing malfunctions and providing long-term solutions;
• Implementing modifications and improvements to optimize production;
• Coordinating external contractors and ordering necessary materials; 
• Working closely with fellow technicians and production departments

Who are you?

You are a hands-on, solutions-oriented technician who enjoys variety and responsibility. You bring:

• ✅ At least MBO level 3 (intermediate vocational technical education) or equivalent working and thinking level;
• ✅ A degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar;
• ✅ A few years of experience as a technician in a production environment or machinery industry;
• ✅ Knowledge of mechanical and electrical fault resolution and maintenance procedures;
• ✅ Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, and/or PLC control systems (pre: Siemens S5/S7 and Lenze);
• ✅ Willingness to occasionally participate in on-call duty;
• ✅ A proactive, independent work style, with good prioritization and teamwork skills.
