Job Description - ServiceNow Data Business Analyst (ID: 4067)

As a ServiceNow Data Business Analyst, you will:

Analyse business requirements and translate them into effective ServiceNow data and ITSM solutions.
Work with ServiceNow products including CMDB, APM, CSDM, Platform Analytics, and ITOM.
Engage with business stakeholders to understand requirements, challenges, and future-state needs.
Recommend solutions aligned with ServiceNow Out-of-the-Box (OOTB) functionality and best practices.
Contribute to the definition of the organization's ServiceNow data strategy, vision, and roadmap.
Analyse existing processes, data structures, and ServiceNow capabilities to identify improvement opportunities.
Collaborate with technical teams, architects, developers, and business stakeholders to define and implement appropriate solutions.
Leverage experience from previous ServiceNow implementations to provide insights and recommend proven approaches.
Stay up to date with ServiceNow innovations, new platform capabilities, and product developments.
Support business stakeholders in understanding and adopting new ServiceNow capabilities and innovations.
Contribute to improving data quality, governance, consistency, and usability across ServiceNow solutions.
Support continuous improvement of ServiceNow processes, capabilities, and adoption practices.

What You Bring to the Table:

6–8 years of overall professional experience in IT Service Management, business analysis, ServiceNow consulting, or related areas.
Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow products and data-related capabilities.
Proven experience with CMDB, APM, CSDM, Platform Analytics, and ITOM.
Strong understanding of ServiceNow ITSM processes and platform capabilities.
Experience gathering, analysing, and documenting business and functional requirements.
Practical knowledge of ServiceNow OOTB functionality and best practices.
Experience contributing to ServiceNow vision, strategy, roadmap, or transformation initiatives.
Experience working with business and technical stakeholders in complex enterprise environments.
Awareness of ServiceNow platform innovations and emerging capabilities.

You Should Possess the Ability To:

Understand business requirements and translate them into ServiceNow functional and data requirements.
Recommend solutions that maximize OOTB ServiceNow capabilities and minimize unnecessary customization.
Analyse business processes and identify opportunities for ServiceNow-enabled improvements.
Develop and communicate a clear ServiceNow data and platform vision.
Advise stakeholders on appropriate ServiceNow modules, capabilities, and implementation approaches.
Facilitate requirement-gathering sessions, workshops, and stakeholder discussions.
Analyse data structures and support improvements in CMDB, CSDM, and ServiceNow data governance.
Evaluate new ServiceNow innovations and identify relevant opportunities for business adoption.
Explain complex ServiceNow concepts and capabilities clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Collaborate effectively with architects, developers, business analysts, and other cross-functional teams.
Identify risks, dependencies, gaps, and improvement opportunities within ServiceNow implementations.
Support organizational change and adoption of new ServiceNow capabilities.
