ServiceNow SecOps Consultant | Netherlands

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Consultant to develop, configure, and implement ServiceNow solutions tailored to customer requirements. The role requires strong expertise in ServiceNow platform capabilities, development, integrations, and Security Operations (SecOps) modules including Security Incident Response and Vulnerability Response.

The consultant will work closely with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable architectural solutions, design high-quality applications, and deliver solutions in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Key Responsibilities

ServiceNow Development & Implementation

• Develop and implement new ServiceNow applications and integrations from initiation to completion, tailored to customer requirements.
  
• Develop workflows and scripts to personalize existing ServiceNow applications and automate business processes.
  

Solution Design

• Understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation, and delivery of high-quality solutions.
  
• Design high-quality features and consider how applications and solutions will evolve in the future.
  

Problem Solving & Delivery

• Solve complex problems in a highly dynamic and agile environment.
  
• Maintain a strong focus on code quality and reusability.
  

Security Operations

• Hands-on experience configuring and developing ServiceNow SecOps modules.
  

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
  
• 8–10 years of experience in relevant roles.
  
• Minimum 3 to 5 years of working experience with ServiceNow modules including:
  
• Security Incident Response
  
• Vulnerability Response
  
• Platform-level capabilities
  
• Minimum 5 years experience with ServiceNow application development.
  
• 4 to 5 years of development experience creating simple/complex customer-facing web or mobile applications is a plus.
  
• Expert-level understanding of the ServiceNow Platform and its capabilities.
  

Technical Skills

ServiceNow & Architecture

• Understanding business needs and standardizing processes into solution design.
  
• Ability to transform customer requirements into high-level architectural solutions or supporting models.
  
• Good understanding of:
  
• Service-oriented architecture
  
• Software application architecture
  
• Consulting customers on these topics.
  
• JavaScript, ES5, HTML, CSS / SCSS, SQL
  
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as AngularJS or React is a plus.
  
• Web services, SOAP, REST. WSDL , XML
  
• Data structures, Algorithms, Object-oriented design, Design patterns, Performance and scale considerations
  
• Familiarity with Scrum and Agile development methodologies.
  
• Ability to lead small project teams is a plus.

• ServiceNow Admin Certification
  
• Certified ServiceNow Implementation Specialist in SIR and VRSN
