Sourcing & Procurement Specialist - Medical Devices

The Job

Onera Health is looking for a Sourcing & Procurement Specialist to strengthen our growing operations team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing and managing suppliers, negotiating favorable terms, and ensuring timely availability of materials and components essential for our medical device production. Your focus will be on building reliable supplier relationships, optimizing procurement processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards such as ISO 13485 and FDA.

You will play a key role in demand forecasting, supplier evaluation, and logistics coordination while maintaining accurate records through our ERP system. Collaborating closely with Engineering, Quality, and Manufacturing teams, you’ll help ensure smooth, cost-effective supply chain operations aligned with Onera's high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities – What You'll Do 

• Manage supplier sourcing and procurement of electronic components and materials for medical device production.
• Lead supplier negotiations to secure favorable pricing, terms, and delivery conditions.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships and evaluate performance against quality and reliability standards.
• Ensure compliance with medical device industry standards (ISO 13485, FDA requirements).
• Use ERP systems to maintain accurate procurement and inventory data.
• Oversee logistics and delivery schedules to ensure on-time availability of materials.
• Understand and contribute to improvements in manufacturing processes and material selection.
• Conduct supplier visits and audits, with occasional travel as required.

• 3–5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management, ideally in the medical device or electronics industry.
• Solid understanding of supply chain processes, logistics, and demand planning.
• Proven negotiation skills and prior experience managing supplier contracts.
• Familiarity with materials and components used in medical devices.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory frameworks (ISO 13485, FDA requirements).
• Experience using ERP systems and procurement tools.
• Willingness to travel for supplier visits as needed.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a plus.
• Eligible to work in the EU.
