Stewarding Employee

Mercure Amsterdam City is looking for an enthusiastic Stewarding employee. Do you become happy when an area is clean and tidy? And do you like to explore hotels during weekends away? With our discounts on hotels you are at the right place! 368 rooms, 2 restaurants, a spacious terrace, a beautiful bar and 10 meetings rooms… We could use your help in the stewarding department and are looking for a Stewarding employee!

Together with your colleagues of Stewarding you are responsible for a shiny kitchen department. Besides, you make sure the cutlery, plates and other needs for the kitchen and restaurant are ready to shine. Further you ensure a clean working environment for you and your colleagues.

Our hotel is part of the Accor hotel chain, a great advantage because it gives you many opportunities to grow within different hotels (Mercure, Novotel, ibis, Sofitel, Movenpick etc.!). In our hotel you will get the chance to learn and develop yourself.. You are part of an international team of currently around 70 colleagues. Who are you?

• Ensure compliance with HACCP guidelines to maintain a safe and hygienic work environment.
• Contribute to creating a positive and enjoyable atmosphere in the workplace.
• Demonstrate flexibility in working various shifts (morning, day, evening), including weekends and public holidays.
• Work independently and take responsibility for assigned tasks.
• Adapt quickly to changing priorities and multitask efficiently.
• Remain calm and perform well under temporary pressure.
• Communicate effectively in English; Dutch is considered an advantage.
• Be based in or near Amsterdam.

What’s in it for you?

• Salary above the Collective Labor Agreement scale 2, this is between € 2.506,07 and € 2.589,41. At Accor we start from periodic 4 instead of 1;
