INK Hotel Amsterdam – MGallery is a luxury lifestyle hotel and owes its name to the rich history of the building. As the former headquarters of the newspaper ‘De Tijd,’ our building was the place where stories were created, written, and eventually printed in ink. You’ll see this history reflected in every detail of our hotel. Our restaurant, PRESSROOM, is the living room of our hotel guests and locals.

The Script

As a Supervisor F&B, you will be leading our restaurant, PRESSROOM, together with another Supervisor F&B and a Manager. Of course, you’ll ensure the smooth running of the shift, coordinating and overseeing the different responsibilities. Every day, you enjoy taking guests through the story of PRESSROOM and making them excited about our drinks and dishes. You naturally want them to return soon! You work professionally with your colleagues and embrace a personal, relaxed approach to service. Spot a crooked bar stool? Or a glass that isn’t polished? No, because you have a keen eye for detail, and your workspace always looks meticulously cared for!

You’ll join a diverse and close-knit team bursting with passion for the job. You find it challenging to use this team's passion and transform it into inspiring service during breakfast, lunch, and/or dinner. Additionally, you promote personal service and ensure that the high standards of the hotel are upheld. The team consists partly of full-time employees, complemented by dedicated part-timers and interns. PRESSROOM restaurant is open 7 days a week, so flexibility is key.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Supervisor F&B to help make the story of PRESSROOM even more successful. Additionally, we focus on the following criteria during the selection process:

• You have 1 to 2 years of work experience in a leadership role.

• You have at least 3 years of work experience in a Food and Beverage department.

• You have insight into legal regulations concerning safety and social hygiene.

• You are available during the weekdays and on weekends.

• You are available for 38 hours per week.

• You have a flexible schedule and are willing to work both morning and evening shifts.

• You are proficient in English.
