Every day we process more than 10,000 tubes of blood for diagnostic research at the request of general practitioners, midwives, institutions, hospitals and other healthcare providers. This makes Atalmedial one of the largest collaboration partners in the Netherlands in the field of laboratory diagnostics. In addition, Atalmedial operates one of the largest thrombosis services in the Netherlands. We offer guidance to more than 22,000 thrombosis patients per year, both through regular thrombosis care and through self-measurement; from blood sampling to advice on the required dosage of anticoagulant medication.

Become the strategic brain behind our planning at Unilabs! Lead our team in developing, implementing and executing policies for optimal continuity and service quality according to our annual planning. Manage personnel and training policies, monitor budgets and proactively signal deviations. Form operational and tactical policies within our guidelines, advise management and support with CAO implementation and workforce management. Maintain crucial contacts with internal and external partners for optimal cooperation. Initiate efficiency improvements, detect service developments and lead organization-wide projects to strengthen our service provision. Play a key role in ensuring smooth, efficient and high-quality planning within Unilabs.

Getting Started

As a Planning Team Leader, you will work 36 hours a week, mainly during the day and will not be deployed on evening and weekend shifts. At the start of your employment, you will work at three different locations: Amsterdam, Utrecht and Enschede. This requires flexibility from you. Later, you may work more at one location or you may work more remotely. You will manage approximately 15-25 planning employees and will receive guidance from the Customer & Operational Service Manager Unilabs NL. You will also participate in the local operational management team. The location for this position is Amsterdam and every now and then you will work at the decentralized locations Utrecht and Enschede.

Every working day you will find yourself in different situations. With your empathic and communication skills you know how to approach each situation correctly. 

Furthermore you have: 

• HBO working and thinking level, with a background in WFM. 
• Knowledge and skills in the field of coaching leadership, management techniques and sustainable employability. 
• Knowledge of various planning and IT systems 
• Experience in implementing capacity planning and forecasting.
• Knowledge of the Working Hours Act, the Hospital Collective Labor Agreement and relevant legislation (such as the Working Hours Act and the WAB Act) 
• Knowledge of current developments and trends within the field. 

• Salary €3678 - €5185, classification FWG 55 (Collective Labor Agreement for Hospitals as of February 2025, based on 36 hours;)
• A one-year contract;
• Travel expenses reimbursement;
• 8.33% holiday pay and 8.33% end-of-year bonus;
