About the Role

We’re looking for a hands-on Production Team Leader to join our growing onion rings production team. In this role, you’ll oversee day-to-day operations on the production and packing lines, ensuring our delicious onion rings are made to the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

You’ll lead and motivate a team of around 51 employees, working closely with the Assistant Production Team Leader, Quality Assurance (QA), Technical Department (TD), and Packaging Coordinator to keep production running smoothly.

What You'll Do

• Lead, coach and motivate production and packaging teams.


• Ensure safe, efficient operations while meeting production, quality and food safety standards.


• Monitor production performance and resolve day-to-day operational challenges.


• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, reduce waste and optimize performance.


• Support employee development through coaching, training and performance management.


• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver operational excellence and business objectives.

What You'll Bring

• MBO+ level, preferably in Food Technology, Operations Management, Engineering or a related field.


• 3-5 years of leadership experience within a manufacturing or food production environment.


• Knowledge of HACCP, GMP and food safety standards.


• Strong leadership, communication and coaching skills.


• A proactive mindset with excellent planning and problem-solving abilities.


• Good command of Dutch and/or English.

Employment Conditions

• A salary starting at €4075,- up to €4652,- max including 17% shift allowance, depending on work experience.


• 25 holidays and 15 ADV days per year (option to sell your ADV days in exchange for higher monthly salary)


• Holiday allowance 8%


• End-of-year Bonus of 3%


• Commuting allowance of €0.23 per km with a max 100 km per day (two way).
