Technical Manager

You analyze and manage data extraction applications for various assets, such as CPS, Element Manager (DA3), Converge, PQMS, and Siemens Fault Recorders. When incidents or disruptions occur, you handle them hands-on and resolve them. User questions and reports are systematically recorded and addressed via TopDesk / ServiceNow.

You work within a BizDevOps team operating according to the Scrum methodology in an Agile SAFe organization. Every two weeks, you work with your team on the sprint planning and align closely with the Product Owner and stakeholders.

In addition, you play an active role in collaborating with suppliers regarding updates, changes, and incidents on existing platforms. Together with other IT and OT teams, you work on release management, structural improvements, and optimizing management processes. You also support projects aimed at further unlocking and utilizing network data, for example for capacity management and congestion issues.

Experience:

HBO working and thinking level

Minimum of 3 years of experience in a technical management/operations role

Thorough knowledge of Linux (RHEL) and Windows (on-premise servers)

Familiar with ITIL and working in an Agile environment

Key knowledge and experience

Experience with monitoring (preferably Zabbix)

Affinity with incident management, troubleshooting, and performance monitoring

Experience with scripting (PowerShell and/or Python)

Profile:

Demonstrable experience with the operational management of business-critical systems

Experience with containerization (e.g. containers / platform management)

Knowledge of CI/CD

Additional knowledge of security, Active Directory, network and encryption issues

Knowledge of streaming platforms such as Kafka / Eventhub

Professional level of Dutch and English

Location: Delft/Hybrid
