We ARE Renewables is looking for an experienced Technical Manager High Voltage to lead the technical coordination of complex energy infrastructure projects.

As Technical Manager, you are the link between the client and various technical specialists. You work across disciplines including primary and secondary installations, civil engineering, construction, cables and overhead lines. Your role is to bring these disciplines together and ensure that the technical solution is coherent, feasible and aligned with the client's requirements.

You will work on projects involving medium- and high-voltage substations, underground cable connections and the integration of renewable energy into the existing electricity grid.

What will you do?

• Take technical responsibility for an important part of the project's success.


• Translate client requirements into clear technical frameworks and solutions.


• Coordinate different engineering disciplines and ensure effective collaboration.


• Act as the technical point of contact for clients and internal specialists.


• Connect specialists in primary and secondary systems, civil engineering, construction and cables & lines.


• Monitor the technical coherence and quality of the project.


• Identify technical risks, bottlenecks and interfaces between disciplines.


• Make technical subjects understandable for different stakeholders.


• Involve the right specialists when specific technical expertise is required.


• Contribute to the development of future-proof solutions for the Dutch energy network.
