Our Team
We are looking for a 1st Operator to lead our Paperbag production line. You will work at the heart of our factory. Our team is focused on high-tech machines, quality, and working safely. You will be the technical expert who makes sure our production never stops.
What You Will Do
As a Technical Operator, you are the technical expert for your production line. Your main goal is to keep the machine running optimally, regardless of your specific department.
Operating and maintaining complex Paper Bag Machines and high-level, advanced troubleshooting.
Machine Operation: Efficiently run, monitor, and adjust your machine(s) to meet quality and production goals.
Preventive Maintenance: Plan and perform weekly/monthly scheduled maintenance and cleaning tasks to prevent unplanned stops.
Troubleshooting: Solve most first- and second-line technical problems quickly (using Root Cause Analysis where needed).
Coordination: Manage your time based on the maintenance schedule and arising breakdowns. Coordinate with colleagues, the Supervisor, and the Maintenance team.
Training: Train and instruct new Operators and colleagues on machine operation and necessary adjustments.
Safety First: Ensure your work is always safe. You follow all regulations and immediately report or fix any unsafe conditions.
Improvement: Suggest and test ideas to make our processes better, safer, and more efficient.
Your Qualifications

Experience: You have proven experience (1-3 years) as an Operator or Technician in a fast-paced production environment.
Technical Insight: You have strong mechanical and technical insight to quickly diagnose and solve technical issues.
Education: You have completed a technical education equivalent to MBO Level 4 in a technical or graphical field.
Proactivity: You have a hands-on mentality and can work independently to plan and prioritize your tasks.
Safety Focus: You understand the critical importance of workplace safety and always use the required safety equipment.
Nice to Have
Experience with printing technology or making paper bags.
Special certificates like NEN3140 or VOP.
Experience with "Continuous Improvement" (making processes better).
Basic English or Dutch skills to read technical manuals.
