Technical Trainer

McCain Appetizers Europe is a fast-growing player in the world of appetizers. Think crispy onion rings, breaded mushrooms and mozzarella sticks. Early next year, we will also launch a new production line for cheese soufflés. Would you like to see up close how fresh raw materials are transformed into a delicious end product? With us, you will experience the entire production process.

Within our production environment, we work with various machines, each with extensive (and often technical) manuals. That is why we are looking for a Technical Trainer who, together with suppliers, can translate this complex information into clear and practical instructions for our employees. You will contribute to talent development and ensure our teams work according to the highest standards of food safety, quality and production.

What will you do

• Lead compliance training
  Coordinate, update and follow up on mandatory training programs. Manage certification matrices and contribute to the plant’s audit readiness.


• Drive continuous improvement
  Work closely with safety, quality and operations teams to design, deliver and evaluate effective training programs (e-learning, classroom and blended learning).


• Ensure strong onboarding
  In collaboration with management and stakeholders, ensure that new employees and contractors receive an effective technical onboarding program.


• Support change and investments
  Contribute to projects by developing and coordinating training for new equipment and processes in cooperation with technical specialists and project managers.


• Contribute to talent development
  Provide insight into employee development and support performance management and training processes.


• Reporting and insights
  Create clear dashboards and reports on training results and statistics for stakeholders.

What do you bring

• Experience in a similar role within a production or logistics environment


• MBO-4 level of education or thinking in a relevant field (equivalent to upper secondary vocational education)


• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills


• Experience in planning, delivering and evaluating training programs


• Empathetic, flexible and a true team player


• Good command of Dutch and English (Polish, Spanish or Hungarian is a plus)


• Ability to take ownership and set priorities


• Ambition to continuously improve and keep learning

Employment conditions

• An initial one-year contract, followed by a permanent contract


• Salary ranging from €3,300 to €4,000 gross per month, depending on experience


• 25 vacation days and 15 ADV days (which can also be sold for extra salary)


• 3% End-of-Year bonus


• Travel allowance of €0.23 per km, up to a maximum of 100 km per day
