Enablon ’s software solution ( Wolters Kluwer product line) helps our customers to become safer and more sustainable. We're looking for a technical writer to help us realize this vision.
We're transforming the enablement experience for our customers, both internal and external. This is your opportunity to shape this transformation to improve the quality and impact of the content. You'll need creativity in finding intuitive ways of conveying information.
You'll do this as a member of the Documentation team, working closely with Product Owners/SMEs and their teams to research, write, design, coordinate, and deliver standard product documentation for Enablon products.
Essential Duties and responsibilities
Activities:
Write, update, review, and publish product documentation (e.g. Online content, Admin guides, User guides, Release Notes, Technical documents) in English, working closely with Enablon colleagues and freelance writers.
Work with stakeholders to identify needs, potential gaps, and improvements.
Gain an understanding of user needs, enabling you to distill complex features into easily digestible and user-friendly formats.
Provide creative ideas for organizing and delivering content to ensure user success and increase Enablon functional adoption.
Monitor content performance metrics and make data-driven recommendations to increase content usage.
Provide direction and support to the documentation team and to other colleagues writing client-facing documentation.
Expected outcomes:
Enablon Clients and Partners better understand how Enablon products can solve their business problems (Focus on customer success)
Efficient collaboration within a distributed team (Win as a Team)
Job Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Excellent level of written and spoken English
2+ years working in a professional environment in a learning/content creation role
Experience in a software documentation environment
Detail-oriented with proactive organizational skills
Good communication, initiative, and the ability to work well in a team-based environment
Some knowledge of programming and/or mark-up languages would be an advantage
Interest and desire to ensure the content has the desired impact and outcomes.
