Test Engineer

Requirements

• Develop detailed test plans aligned with program requirements and objectives.
  


• Coordinate testing activities across internal teams, vendors, and business stakeholders.
  


• Ensure test environments, test data, and required tools are available and ready for execution.
  


• Drive alignment between testing activities, program goals, and stakeholder expectations.
  


• Serve as the primary point of contact for all testing-related activities.
  


• Collaborate with Program Managers, Developers, Business Analysts, and business stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  


• Provide regular updates on testing progress, risks, issues, and mitigation actions.
  


• Oversee test execution activities to ensure adherence to scope, timelines, and quality standards.
  


• Monitor testing progress and manage defect tracking, resolution, and reporting.
  


• Escalate critical issues and risks in a timely manner.
  


• Facilitate daily stand-ups and status meetings throughout the testing lifecycle.
  


• Ensure adequate test coverage and compliance with established testing methodologies and processes.'
  


• Ensure comprehensive documentation of test plans, test cases, execution results, and defect reports.
  


• Provide clear and timely reporting on testing status, defects, risks, and overall quality metrics.
  


• Prepare test phase summaries and contribute to go/no-go decision-making processes.
  


• Identify testing-related risks, dependencies, and potential impacts.
  


• Develop and implement mitigation strategies to proactively address risks and ensure successful delivery.
  


• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, quality assurance processes, and test lifecycle management.
  


• Extensive experience managing Business Acceptance Testing (BAT) and System Integration Testing (SIT) phases.
  


• Proven experience leading testing activities across multiple parallel projects or programs.
  


• Strong stakeholder management, coordination, and communication skills.
  


• Expertise in test planning, test execution, defect management, and test reporting.
  


• Experience working with cross-functional teams in complex delivery environments.
  


• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
  


• Experience with test management tools and testing best practices.
  


• Knowledge of Agile and/or Waterfall delivery methodologies.
  


• Hands-on experience with defect management tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps.
  


• Experience working within large-scale and complex transformation programs.
  


• Knowledge of test automation concepts and frameworks.
  


• Experience working in regulated and complex financial services environments.
  


• Knowledge of nCino and/or Salesforce platforms.
  


• ISTQB Certification or equivalent testing certification.
