You & Your Function

Set up and execute test scenarios for developed IBM Mainframe software, while supporting our day-to-day 24/7 operations. As a Test & DevOps Engineer, you will work in a dynamic team, collaborating with architects, developers, testers, business analysts, and operations engineers to deliver reliable systems. You will help ensure the continuity and security of global payment processing, where every transaction counts.

• Design, prepare, and execute test scenarios using IBM Mainframe‑compatible tooling. Improve and automate existing manual test processes. Contribute to continuous quality assurance of newly developed features

• Ensure the maintenance, stability, and continuity of our applications 24/7. Supporting day-to-day operations, incident resolution and application lifecycle management contributing to the overall reliability of our payment systems.

• Work collaboratively within a dynamic team of both experienced and junior colleagues, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

The Test & DevOps Engineer position is part of the Account Agreement & Billing team, within Rabobank’s core payment foundation, located at tribe Account Payment Factory, Domain Retail NL Tech. Our systems form a critical link in global payment processing, where security, continuity, and 24/7 availability are essential.

You & Your Talent

• Bachelor’s or Master’s working and thinking level.

• 3-5 years of experience with the IBM Mainframe platform (medior level).

• 3-5 years of experience as a tester with various testing tools

• Proven experience in test automation.

• Experience with deploying and maintaining IBM-Mainframe applications.

• Experience with Microsoft Azure (Administration, Pipelines, Power Platform).

• Experience working in multicultural, multidisciplinary DevOps/Agile teams.
