Warehouse Team Leader – Eindhoven, Netherlands

Fixed term contract for 12 months

Onsite role, shift basis, Sunday through Friday - average 40 hours per week.

As Team Leader here at Illumina in Eindhoven, you will play a pivotal role in leading daily warehouse operations and ensuring smooth, safe, and high‑quality execution across all material handling activities.

This is a fully hands‑on position, working side‑by‑side with a team of Material Coordinators while providing day‑to‑day guidance, coaching, and clear operational direction. You will partner closely with cross‑functional teams across the site to maintain an exceptional warehouse environment and uphold operational excellence.

You are an experienced warehouse professional who thrives in a hands‑on leadership role and enjoys working directly on the warehouse floor.

You bring proven experience leading teams in an operational or logistics environment, with the ability to balance people leadership with active participation in daily warehouse tasks.

You have strong communication skills, understand the importance of safety and quality, and take pride in fostering a positive and productive team atmosphere. You enjoy problem‑solving in a fast‑moving environment, take ownership of results, and act with integrity—demonstrating our Illumina value of Be Accountable in everything you do.

Experience in a regulated or high‑quality environment is an advantage, and proficiency in English is required.

Key Responsibilities Include:

• Provide day‑to‑day hands‑on leadership on the warehouse floor, working directly alongside Material Coordinators
• Guide, support, and motivate team members to ensure high performance and a positive, collaborative culture
• Execute core warehouse activities including goods receipt, material handling, storage, picking, packing, and internal deliveries
• Monitor daily workflows, assign priorities, and adjust resources to meet operational needs
• Ensure all activities are completed safely and in accordance with quality standards, SOPs, and site procedures
• Identify opportunities to improve warehouse processes and support continuous improvement initiatives
• Partner closely with cross‑functional colleagues, demonstrating our value of Win Together to deliver reliable operational support
• Take ownership of documentation accuracy, inventory integrity, and issue resolution
• Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to anticipate needs and maintain a smooth supply chain flow

The estimated base salary range for the Warehouse Team Leader – Eindhoven, Netherlands role based in Netherlands is EUR 33.000 - 49.600. The range reflects long‑term growth in the role; therefore, most candidates are hired between the minimum and middle of the range. Placement depends on experience, skills, location, and internal equity. This salary range applies to the primary posting location listed above. Should the level or location of the role change during the hiring process, the applicable base pay range will be updated accordingly. Compensation ranges for other locations will differ to reflect local market competitiveness and will be shared with candidates if applicable during the recruitment process. Additionally, all employees are eligible for one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
