For IMA LIFE we are searching for a SALES AREA MANAGER .
IMA LIFE THE NETHERLANDS B.V ., located in Dongen (Netherlands) and 100% owned by IMA S.p.A., provides customer service for the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries.

JOB SUMMARY

Planning sales actions in order to expand the client portfolio and/or retain existing customers.

Suggesting off-the-catalogue solutions to customers.

Understanding customer expectations and identifying alternative commercial proposals while being aware of technical constraints.

Implementing customised solutions to then be developed into commercial offers (upon customer requests, and supported by technical experts).

Building relationships with Customers, not only sales-related, but also on a personal level, which is also achieved through social visits not specifically aimed at selling products.

Coordinating and managing the activities of Group's retailers, agents and branch staff based locally

MUST HAVE

At least 5 years' experience in the role.

Earlier experience with customised products in an industrial B2B sector.

Fluency in English.

Willingness to travel

NICE TO HAVE

(Even basic) knowledge of the French language.

Degree in Engineering or technical education.
