Controlling Assistant Intern

TP Vision engages in developing, manufacturing, selling and marketing Philips branded TV sets and Audio /Video devices in Europe, Russia, Middle East, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay and selected countries in Asia-Pacific excluding China. I.BRIEF DESCRIPTION:

Working from the Amsterdam HQ office, the Controlling Assistant will be supervised by and work closely with Revenue & Rebate Controlling team (located in mainly SSC Prague, as well as Amsterdam) and provide support in reporting, controls a management of Amazon debit notes in Salesforce

II. KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:

· Reviewing and processing contractual bonuses debit notes of Amazon in SF.com

· Updating/Running weekly/monthly reports

· Performing RCM checks (quarterly) assigned to Revenue accountants/Contractual rebates controllers

· Approving Commitments in Salesforce.com as back up for Revenue accountant

· Support to team with audit tasks

· Other supporting controlling tasks

· Communicating with local sales/marketing team in order to clarify unclear requests if needed

III. ORGANIZATIONAL CONTEXT:

Reports functionally to Revenue & Rebate Controlling team Leader based in Prague, mentored by Lead Specialist in Amsterdam

Interactions with other stakeholders :

· Contractual rebates controlling team and Revenue accounting team in Prague

· Local sales and marketing teams in European countries

IV. CAPABITILIES REQUIRED:

· University student, finance /economics studies advantage

· Fluent in English, other language as advantage

· Analytical thinking

· Good with MS office tools (especially excel), open to learn working with systems

· Positive and proactive personality, good communication skills

· Team oriented person with ability to learn

· Responsible approach to work and ability to keep on deadlines
