Data Analytics | Business Administration internship: supplier quality dashboard

Introduction

The Supplier Quality Engineering team at ASML in Veldhoven, the Netherlands, works closely with global suppliers to secure reliable part quality for advanced lithography systems. The team manages new product introductions and ongoing quality performance across many suppliers and datasets. Today, important information is spread across multiple sources, which makes daily work more complex and time-consuming. This internship focuses on improving transparency and efficiency for the team. During this internship, you help translate data into clear insights that support better decisions and smoother collaboration.

Your assignment

In this internship you will support Supplier Quality Engineers by creating a clear and accessible overview of their work. You explore how performance indicators can be translated into practical reporting that supports daily priorities. The assignment combines analysis, stakeholder interaction, and solution development in a real industrial environment. Your main responsibilities will be:

• Conduct a pre-study on existing performance indicators used by the Supplier Quality Engineering team.

• Identify which data is required to manage work effectively and influence agreed performance outcomes.

• Translate information needs into clear reporting and visualization concepts.

• Define reporting scope, metrics, visuals, update cadence, and intended use, together with stakeholders.

• Develop dashboards or reports that present work status with clarity and consistency.

• Validate data accuracy, usability, and relevance through reviews with engineers and leaders.

• Incorporate feedback and finalize reporting solutions for practical use.

This is a bachelor non-thesis internship for minimum 6 months, minimum 4 days per week (4 days on-site). The start date of this internship is as of September 2026.

Your profile

To be suitable for the internship, you:

• Are enrolled in a bachelor’s degree in data analytics, business administration, or industrial engineering and management.

• Have a strong interest in data-driven decision-making within an industrial or technical context.

• Are comfortable working with data visualization or reporting tools and have experience with Python

• Communicate clearly in English and feel confident interacting with multiple stakeholders.

• Show a proactive, analytical, and results-oriented way of working.

This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the United States Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. § 730, et seq.). Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to access such controlled technology prior to beginning work. Business demands may require ASML to proceed with candidates who are immediately eligible to access controlled technology.
