ESS Solution Engineer Intern - Benelux

We are looking for a motivated working student to support our ESS Solution Engineering team. You’ll work closely with the Solution Engineer, assisting with technical designs, project development, and customer support for cutting-edge Commercial & Industrial (C&I) and Utility-scale battery storage systems across Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing technical proposals and system designs for C&I and Utility-scale BESS projects.
• Support the evaluation and sizing of Energy Storage Systems using simulation tools and software.
• Conduct research on grid regulations, market trends, and energy storage applications.
• Assist in customer inquiries and technical clarifications.
• Help develop scripts or tools to automate document compilation processes.
• Collaborate with the sales, project, and engineering teams on various tasks.
• Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and documentation.

If you’re ready to explore the world of clean energy from a sales perspective, we’re looking for someone with the following qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Power Systems, or a related field.
• Interest in battery energy storage systems and renewable energy.
• Basic understanding of power systems, electrical schematics, or grid integration is a plus.
• Programming skills in Python, C, Java, or similar languages.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint). Knowledge of AutoCAD, PVSyst, Homer, or similar tools is a plus.
• Detail-oriented mindset with a structured and precise approach to work.
• Analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills in English (other European languages are a plus).
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
