Finance Intern

You're joining our lean, mean finance machine to help us tackle the exciting challenge of our 2024 audit. This isn't just about crunching numbers; it's about diving deep into the financial heartbeat of a fast-growing tech scale-up. You'll be a crucial pair of hands, ensuring our financial data is squeaky clean and ready for prime time, directly supporting our entire finance team. What you’ll achieve in your internship

• Become an audit pro: You'll play a key role in preparing, organizing, and verifying financial documents, pulling necessary samples, making our 2024 audit run smoothly.

• Master data accuracy: Get hands-on with reconciling accounts and validating transactions to ensure our financial data is top-notch.

• Boost your Excel skills: Turn raw financial data into clear, actionable insights for audit reports.

• Gain real-world finance insights: Understand the core financial processes of a fast-paced global scale-up.

What we’re looking for 

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.

• Highly detail-oriented and organised - you've got an eagle eye for numbers!

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Google sheets; you're comfortable with formulas and data manipulation.

• Proactive and independent in your work, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.

• Availability to worka minimum 3 days a week, and come to our Amsterdam office.

• Available to start at the beginning of September
